Words Worth is an initiative of the ACTUniv group intended to develop the much needed proficiency in English for people of all ages, elevating their competencies and enhancing performance. Based on the extensive research in India Words Worth delivers a unique methodology, content and technology implements, not replacing the human element but complementing it with digital tools for both, the trainer to deliver and for the learner to independently assimilate, practice and selfÂassess every aspect of the English language.
The product has been appreciated by the Academia, Vocational fraternity, Education authorities as well as the Industry, applauding the treatment to remedy regional influence, Indianism and removal of mother tongue influence (MTI). Words Worth implementation has been a natural choice for numerous schools, colleges, vocational and higher learning institutions as well as Governments that have envisioned bringing an economical change by providing English Language training to the mass.
Training Methodology
Words Worth is a unique product facilitating all round language skill (LSRW) development of the student through the use of modern technology while maintaining the human element (teacher) that matters most in teaching. Words Worth employs the blended learning methodology featuring an optimal combination of InstructorÂled training (ILT) sessions with self-paced Computer Based Training (CBT) fully supported by Digital Multimedia content. The training system emphasises on the natural learning approach with emphasis on listening and speaking and progressively towards reading and writing, for the practical use of English for the real world. It is a based on the international ALTE1 /CEFR framework.
Words Worth features
Words Worth takes care of the finest nuance of the English language, improving all aspects such as grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, free speech, intonation and modulation besides offering remedy to correct regional influences of the mother tongue. The content has rich audio-visual features offering ample practice and self assessment such as ‘listen-record-compare�and glossary. The programme allows student to take control of his own pace of learning. Hence students get ample practice to

The Instructor Led Training is complemented with high quality Digital Multimedia Content. The ILT sessions conducted by the trainer are supported with digital content, assisting the trainer in delivery the concepts, situations and demonstrate semantic. The highly researched content presents a unique advantage enhancing interaction and activities in the classroom. The trainer uses a large screen display with an audio kit of speakers and microphone connected to the PC, in the classroom addressing the group of students. Each session has assessments and exercises bedsides activities related to the context.
Digital Learner Content
Interactive Digital Multimedia Content is provided for the learner’s individual practice at the Language Laboratory. This lets the learner methodologically learn in privacy of the headset, at one’s own pace, practise, listen  record  compare and analyse their own performance. The sessions use a blend of audio and video clips making learning not only exciting but also catapults effectiveness. The methodology includes interesting and engrossing exercises that build on the students#39; skills in the most critical areas associated with communicating in English.
Trainer Dashboard: Learner actiity monitoring system
The internal remote monitoring system provides the Trainer access to every learner#39;s terminal from the trainer PC using the Teacher Dashboard Software. The Dashboard provides a view of multiple learner screens at a time keeping the trainer updated on the progress and difficulty of the learner, interact with the learner and guide the learner via audio / written chat.
Trainer mauals an flash cards
The Trainer manual is a comprehensive preparatory tool for conducting each session. The trainer is provided with a synopsis of the topic to be covered, objectives, emphasis on speech aspects, duration and notes besides examples, roleÂplays, activities and scenarios. The flash cards complement the training delivery with quick reference and cue during the session.
Student Courseware
Learner courseware is available for each of the levels and is an integral part of the learning system. The courseware compliments the Instructor Led session and also works as a workbook for exercises, making notes, practice, home assignments and recording feedback before attending the lab practice session. The courseware may be purchased from the company as required.
At School or Colleges
Words Worth English Language Lab may be integrated into the academic curriculum seamlessly, uses the institutions existing infrastructure and minimal additions, reducing the total cost of ownership to the lowest.
Words Worth - Junior for schools comprises of eight graded levels of learning, each level has 36 hours of training per year consisting of ILT and CBT sessions.
The Words Worth - Senior for Colleges has three progressive levels, each level has 70 hours of training per year. The level comprise of ILT and CBT sessions.
